For the Youth.

By the Youth.

Let’s Talk Consent strives to empower young Kiwis with the knowledge, understanding, resources, and confidence to enact consent culture in their everyday.

How we support you:

Downloadable Resources

Let’s Talk Consent produces freely-accessible, downloadable resources that offer education, advice, and further support on various aspects of consent culture and social change. The kaupapa of our resources are centred around eliminating sexual violence, supporting our rangatahi, and securing wellbeing for future generations.

Rape culture can be difficult to identify, challenge, and disengage from. This is where we come in!

Let’s Talk Consent is a judgement-free space for youth to learn about all things consent culture. We centre compassion and open-mindedness as we guide our rangatahi on their journey to build the skills and confidence to support social change.

Videos

Media representation is powerful in shaping our understanding of relationships and behaviours. By showing real-life scenarios, real emotions, real nuance, and real diversity, our content explores consent culture in a way that’s approachable and easy to connect with.

Let’s give the ‘tea’ video a day off... :)

A safe space to talk and learn

Above all, Let’s Talk Consent is about building a community of rangatahi who are willing to support one another to learn, share, and grow together!

Our generation has been raised in a time where media, political, and personal power structures have consistently reproduced harmful attitudes and behaviours that are conducive to sexual violence. This is also known as ‘rape culture’.
